Facing Death,Finding Hope
A personal exploration of death and dying
with Judy Arpana

Sunday 9th April 2017 2009, 9.30am-4.00pm
Venue The Yurt Possum Creek

This workshop offers an opportunity for a gentle and creative inquiry into facing death and dying through interaction, visualisation and meditations. There will be opportunities for questions and discussion. Health practitioners will find this seminar not only helpful for their own lives, but also in providing support and healing to clients with life threatening conditions.

Judy Arpana is a counsellor and has worked with people with life threatening illness and grief and loss for the past fifteen years. She has extensive experience in conducting training workshops for doctors, nurses, pastoral care workers, social workers, volunteers and the general public in hospitals, community settings, aged care facilities and hospices and has facilitated many workshops for people with serious illness in Australia, UK, Ireland, Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands. Judy has been a student of Tibetan Buddhism for 30 years and has studied with many Buddhist masters. Her seminars explore the meaning of life and death and she brings to these challenging themes the gift of ‘extraordinary ordinariness’.
